aka Fatal Provocation. During the Libyan crisis, an American Embassy officer named Kevin is evacuated to Palinuro on the coast of Italy. His friend Greg books him into a hotel owned by Madam Elena. Soon Kevin develops an intimate relationship with Elena. Due to jealousy, Elena's daughter Denny opposes the relationship.
