STORY: The film opens with 2 seemingly unrelated events (i) A group of 4 vicious robbers led by a Brazilian man named Rocky kills a diamond prospector and steals his diamonds. (ii) A UNESCO official American Margaret Johnson (Maria Conchita Alonso) arrives at the Dominican Republic to attend the launching of a new local hospital funded by UNESCO. Accompanied by the American Ambassador Ms Johnson charms all those present at the hospital, from Ministers, diplomats, dignitaries, politicians and journalists, with her beauty and grace. The hospital chief Dr. Vargas (Orlando Udanetta) escorts Ms Johnson for a tour of the new hospital. Unfortunately for Ms Johnson, whether by accident or design, she gets bitten by a tarantula spider hidden inside a bouquet of roses presented to her by the hospital staff. So Ms Johnson ends up in the hospital under Dr. Vargas's very close medical care. For her recuperation, Dr. Vargas invites her to stay at his posh villa. At the villa, Ms Johnson lives a life of luxury, riding horses, sunbathing by the swimming pool, attended to by a host of servants and dining on exotic wines and cuisines. She begins to fall in love with Dr. Vargas, a man she eventually discovers is hiding a dark secret which explains his very wealthy lifestyle. Meanwhile a British agent under the guise of a journalist named Kent (Romano Puppo) is helping the Dominican Republic police investigate the killings of diamond prospectors and the stolen diamonds. Kent soon learns that a Chinese prostitute named Lian (Evelyne Chia) working at a local bar cum bordello is feeding information by way of radio to Rocky and his diamond robbers. Making use of Lian's radio, Kent sends some false info to the robbers to set up a trap for them. Three of the diamond robbers get killed by Kent, but Rocky escapes with bullet wounds on his body. Where do you think Rocky escape to? How are Ms Johnson and Dr. Vargas involve in this underground diamond trade, you have to watch the movie till the end to find out.
