The movie opens with the family of beautiful Angela (Senta Berger) attending the funeral of Angela's husband who had committed suicide after accumulating financial debts he couldn't settle. Angela, her strict conservative mother Fani, her 2 unmarried sisters Olga (Erica Blanc) and Lena, her daughter Claudia and maid Susanna now live in a country side villa at the mercy of a lecherous creditor Domenico who moves in with his handsome virgin teenage son Daniele to take over the villa. Olga and Claudia begin to seduce Daniele at every turn but Daniele is infatuated with the beautiful widow Angela. After a series of flirtations with Angela, Daniele loses his virginity to Angela one night. Daniele soon discovers that his father Domenico is also lusting after Angela and when he finds out that Angela has accepted his father's proposal to marry her, a hurt and resentful Daniele decides to go to America to further his studies. However, one night a drunk Domenico dies of a heart attack in an attempt to rape Angela's sisters Olga and Lena. Daniele rushes back from America to attend his father Domenico's funeral and is reunited with Angela.
