aka The Scent of Evil. Scholar Dr. Zani (Giuliano Rosati) has come to visit and learn from Professor Cornelius (Roberto Malone) an authority on the Inquisition and Occult Science. On arriving at the Professor's castle, Dr. Zani is welcomed by secretary Veronica (Valerie). Dr. Zani falls in love with Veronica and soon learns through his participation and observation that the Professor is nothing more than the leader of a Satanic cult preying on kidnapped and wayward women.
