aka The Hands of a Single Woman. Directed by Nello Rosati. Countess Eugenia Fabiani (Marina H) who is a straight lesbian lives in a old villa with her stay in maid Fosca (Christiana Borghi). The Countess and her maid are in a lesbian relationship but her maid is bisexual and sometimes yearns for a man. Countess Fabiani has invited her favourite English novelist Tom Mclaglen (Vianni Materrasi) and his beautiful wife Sara (Bibi Casinelli) to stay at her villa for the summer. The villa is quite near a mental asylum for male insane inmates and every morning 2 caretaker nuns will take the inmates out to the beach for them to exercise. One morning Fosca the maid goes near the beach and seduces a young sexually depraved inmate. The presence of Fosca arouses the sexual desires of many insane inmates. After this incident, Tom's wife Sara is also molested by the inmates when she goes for a walk on the beach. The Countess develops a lesbian desire for Sara and seduces her to come to her bed. Meanwhile Tom is seduced by the Countess' maid Fosca who has been spying on Tom and wife Sara making love. One night the insane male inmates escape from the asylum and heads towards the Countess' villa. Brandishing axes and machetes, the inmates rape and brutalize the Countess and her maid while Tom and Sara escape the mishap.
