aka The Seduction of Angela. Pretty farm girl Angela goes to big city 19th century Rome in search of fortune and a new life. While traveling in a coach, Angela meets Madam Rocchi who invites Angela to come stay at her place in Rome. A grateful and delighted Angela accepts Madam Rocchi's offer. On arrival at Madam Rocchi's big house, Angela is introduced to several ladies who are already staying there. Not long afterwards, Angela discovers that Madam Rocchi's house is actually a brothel as she spies on several of Madam's ladies entertaining their customers in their respective rooms. A shocked Angela wants to leave the house but Madam Rocchi and the other ladies persuade and cajole her to stay saying that she can make a fortune here entertaining elderly but wealthy clients. While entertaining her first client, a thief named Rocco who has already robbed Madam's patrons from room to room, barges into Angela's room. Angela is glad to follow Rocco away from the brothel. Rocco and Angela begin to fall in love with each other but soon they run out of money and Angela goes back to work for Madam Rocchi. Madam Rocchi forces Angela to marry an old but wealthy nobleman. In the meantime Rocco has to sneak in to see Angela in the old man's house.
